1. Introduction
   Why should you use our registry site? Don't major retail outlets already have gift registries? Yes, but if you use them, your wedding guests can only shop at their stores. With our site, your wedding guests can purchase gifts, at ANY store, anywhere in the world! Our open-ended design means you can get more unique and individual gifts, as well as your guest being able to support their local merchants if they want to.


2. Claiming A Gift
   How are gifts claimed? To claim a gift, you must visit the registry that you were invited to. You can use the find registry page to locate a wedding registry. Click on the gift name, and then "Claim This Gift". You will either need the group password for that registry, or you will need to be logged in and invited to that registry.


3. How It Works
   Our site flows through a two step process:
   1. The engaged couple creates a registry, and lists the gifts they want.
   2. The guests visit the registry, and notify other guests of claimed items.
   The bride and groom-to-be cannot see who bought which gifts. The wedding guests also cannot see who bought gifts either.


4. What Does It Cost?
   The core of our site is free for all to use. This includes all the necessary features to organize a gift registry. We will be offering premium services for a light fee, to those couples who would like to customize their registry.


5. Registry Visibility
   Do you want your registry viewable by the public?
   Or do you want to keep your registry private?
   1. Public Visibility
      This is the default setting. Anyone can see your registry. Not everyone will be able to find your registry, however. This is set as the default because many users will need to see your registry while out in public, at a shop.
   2. Private Visibility
      This makes sure only those who are invited and logged in can see your registry. If you are concerned about your privacy, use this option.


6. Registry Security
   Do you trust your guests? Of course you do! What if some prankster visits your registry and checks off all of your gifts? Your legitimate guests will think there are no gifts left to give. Our website has some security features to prevent this.
   1. Account Based Security
      The most secure way of using your registry, is to only allow guests with valid e-mail addresses that you have chosen. This is a bit more effort on the part of you and your guests. Your guests will require e-mail, which may be a problem for some.
   2. Group Password Security
      You can set a password for all guests to use your registry. This way guests will not have to have valid e-mail to participate. This is not secure, as your password may fall into the wrong hands. You will have no way to know for sure, who really claimed your gifts. We do not recommend this method, but it is available for ease of use. We cannot help you, if you use this method, and your registry is abused.


7. Forgotten Password
   Click on the below link to send yourself a new password. You will need to know your e-mail address used with your account. Your old password will no longer be valid. Click here if you forgot your password.


8. Verification E-mail
   If you need to reverify your e-mail, you can. If you did not receive a verification e-mail, check your spam/junk folder. Your e-mail may have been accidentally put there. Click here to reverify your e-mail.


9. Web Browsers
   JavaScript and Flash are required. Designed for the Firefox web browser.
